Our target
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We consider its current status partially conformant: we've built and tested for the standard, but we haven't had an independent audit, so we don't claim full conformance.
What we built in
- Semantic HTML with a skip link, landmarks, and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator.
- Color contrast chosen to meet AA for text; color is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Motion that respects
prefers-reduced-motion: diagrams render fully assembled, with nothing animating. - Light and dark color schemes that follow your system setting.
- No third-party scripts, trackers, or cookie banners that interfere with assistive technology.
How we test
Self-assessment: automated checks and manual keyboard and reduced-motion testing in Chromium-based browsers at desktop, tablet, and mobile widths. We haven't yet tested with every screen reader and browser pairing.
